Four Wednesdays, four 2-hour shifts – how hard can it be? Right!

If you have four stalwarts, easy peasy, but for those in need of ideas, here you go:

  1. Volunteer an Affiliate – Ask your Home Inspector, Appraiser, Home Warranty rep, Movers, etc. You get the idea. Just ask which day and what time is best for them – Remember the Assumptive Close?
  2.  If you are an Agent, ask your lender or title person. If you are a lender or title person, ask your agents. Put an agent and a lender together for a shift. It’s like golf. Build relationships.
  3. Ask you your Mom, your Dad, your Son or Daughter. Any relative works. Make it a family affair. After all, it’s your logo on the kettle. Have them help build your business.
  4. Encourage Pets. Dress them up to draw crowds. Dogs are great, of course. Cats can be a little independent. We had a bunny one day and the crowd was huge. Snakes may not work for everybody.
  5. Costumes are fun. We’ve had elves and Santas and Mrs’ Clauses of course. Any Grinches out there?

The thing is, bell-ringing can be a joyous experience. Bringing people together is the Spirit of the Season.

Donations raised through the red kettles support Salvation Army programs throughout the year transforming lives and giving hope. These programs address homelessness, emergency assistance (rent, utilities, food), domestic violence shelters, disaster relief,
